The Club Tavern, Middleton, Wisconsin

There may not be a chapter in the book “Booking A Gig” covering what we experienced following our Club Tavern gig, but that doesn’t make our methods any less relevant to the contemporary music scene. Namely, when the owner of a club runs out to your car in the parking lot, dressed in shorts despite the fact that it’s winter in Wisconsin and cold enough to make a man sterile, you must be doing something right. That’s what occurred after this gig, as one motivated Moose (who owns the Club Tavern), did such a thing, telling us we’d be back on a Saturday in the summer. Luckily for him, if he wants to book us again after that, being in shorts won’t be too much of an obstacle. But, this man is used to obstacles, he’s the same guy who withstood a Hot Body Bauman attack that nearly resulted in Moose being gorilla pressed! Now, I don’t know about you, heck you could be a midget used in the famed midget tossing events in Chicago, but when someone tries to gorilla press me, usually fisticuffs ensue. Not with ole’ Moose, instead he gave HB Bauman a ride home because he knew only a drunken maniac or The Ultimate Warrior would attempt such a thing. We enjoyed listening to Pine and Chisel, and we’ll be back in late May.
