Rascal's, Winona, MN
Another trip to Minnesota, and let me just say most states have
imaginary borders, lines that state surveyors all agreed upon to
separate states from one another, and, of course the kicker is that
the lines don't really exist, they are just agreed upon by the people
who do this kind of work and probably for tax reasons. But, let's
look at Wisconsin and Minnesota--are these states separated by imaginary
lines? No, they are separated by one of the three biggest rivers
in the world! The mighty Mississippi leaves no doubt among Cheeseheads
and Mudducks as to what state they’re in.
As for the show Beet Root Stew opened and they're good, Winona’s
spoiled for having them. It was graduation time for the Winona Staters,
so we got a healthy dose of new alumnus entering the next step of
their lives by being incapacitated, which is something we applaud—so,
good job Winona. We’ll be back in the summer.
