If one makes the mistake of searching for "The Dry Bean" on Madison.com's newspaper archives, the only newsworthy stories written about the restaurant and bar pertain not to the establishment's menu or service, but to the role this drinkery had in relation to the death of 25-year-old Madison woman. In fact, just typing "Dry Bean" brought up 51 stories about this sad affair, a tale of murder, drugs, and tragedy. Apparently, and this is coming from the newsmen and women of Madison, Wisconsin, our fine city's oxycotin dealers find in The Dry Bean a nice place to set up shop. So, for those of you searching for a little nightlife in our town, please keep this in mind and be safe.
