The Club Tavern, Middleton, Wisconsin

This is one of the best places to play in or around Madison, if not the best. The sound is always good, the musicians get treated well, and when you really start getting into a song, the giant taxidermied moose head behind the stage blows fog out of its nose. Reminds me of home, where the wild moose dressed in stretch pants and wearing pastel colored sweaters with air-brushed deer and eagles would blow fog out of their noses while finding sales at Economart or Pamida.

Crimson Vim was a pleasure to watch, and I’m glad we got to share a bill with them.
