While looking at my high tech web-page software that states what search terms people use to find our site, I came across the bizarre discovery that someone arrived at the illustrious www.clovismann.com by googling "Tate Noordyk." I first thought: "Where in the hell is Tate Noordyk stated on our web-site," and this thought quickly was followed by "What kind of bizarre and demented mad man googles Tate Noordyk?" Then, I saw it on this here Forum link, Snukasheadband mentioning the horseshoe tourny he participated in, and his battles with Tate Noordyk and Ross, staged in the evergreen Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This led me to thinking, if people are desperate enough to google Tatey, I should write a pointless article about it and start intersplicing a bunch of search terms that would direct people to our web-site. Madden 2007 Playstation 3 cheats, for example. I could increase traffic ten-fold! A billion-fold! Ron Mexico Michael Vick Lyle Alzado the Iron Sheik. But, it's kind of pointless to just spluge certain search terms that are unrelated to the band out here George W. Bush, Don Majkowski, Spider-Man. I might as well lace this article with words that people who might dig our music would be actively searching for, so here goes: Steve Perry, Gibson EB-1, EB-0, EB-3, Jimmy Snuka, The Cream, The Mountain, Leslie West, Bill Graham, Hot Body, Bob Rock, Vista Lights, SG, Ampeg SVT Classic, Liberty Devitto, Bryce Paup, Shameless Place, Otis and the Alligators, Vince Lombardi, Kingsbury Beer, Mastodons, Marty Stauffer, Corn Cob Bob, Morecowbell.net, Felix Pappalardi, Art Blakely, Herbie Mann, Thom Jones, Yul Brenner...aw fuck it, might as well sell out: Justin Timberlake, boobies, K-Bob, Kevin Federline.

Fine, I'm gonna say it.

Moving and Shaking
Hey howdy, it's the husky lads again and we have some new and exciting stuff going on.

-First of all, we'd like to thank Craig Baumann from Fat Maw Rooney for helping us out lately. Be sure to check out his side project (featuring our own Ethan Noordyk on percussion) at Red and Deb's in Platteville on Thursday nights.

-We also have T shirts for sale, so pick one up at a gig or contact the band via the website for details. As my dear ol' daddy would say, they're slicker than shit. (That's a good thing.) Also, if you are in the Lakeshore area, the greatest record store in the history of Manitowoc County, Dr. Freud's, is carrying our CD. Stop by and say hi to Jim for us.

-We'll be appearing on WSUM 91.7 again so tune in on Sunday Dec. 3 from 2-3 to hear our tone poems and witticisms. The show is called "Support Your Scene" and they surely do. They've been playing the hell out of our new CD which is getting a lot of positive feedback. Also listen for some airplay during Eric Magayne's "Key to the Highway" show before lunch on Thursdays. Great tunes, lots of love for Eric.

-Ethan just bought a Marimba and it is ridiculous. You haven't heard Stone Moses until you've heard the 4 mallet assault of the Drop-kicking Dutchman. Baja tour soon to follow.

-We're cooking up some shows in the wild west this Spring in Wyoming and parts thereabouts. I may be playing a few solo acoustic shows in Jackson, WY over Christmas. The details are being finalized as this is written.

Well thanks for coming to the shows and drinking PBR's with us after. We're loving the whole deal, and we can't wait to keep it going.

Message from the Commune
Hey, hope all is well. We had a lot of great shows this summer and have a lot more in store for fall. We're working on some new tunes, so be prepared for some surprises next time you see us. On a more somber note, Ethan and I just battled admirably in Stevie D.'s Labor Day Horse-shoe tournament, defeating last year's champs but losing to Nubby and Hutsy. Those guys had the touch. Special shout out to Ross and Tate, better luck next year guys. Team Jim is going to have to reevaluate. Had a ton of fun in Plymouth this month. If you find yourself there, go to Bookheads. Buy some books . Tell the nice lady that Dan sent you.
See you at the shows,
Dan

We're happy to announce the album is now out!!! You can purchase it at any show for the price of $10, or right here on our web-site (just click on "Merch"). You get 59 minutes of pure, kippered Clovis Mann. If that doesn't make your mouth water, I'd guess you've been conditioned by Ivan Pavlov, in which case you have bigger things to worry about.

Buy it.

"Turn the radio on, and listen to the music."
