The album has been sent off to press. They estimated a turnaround of 14 business days, plus a week for shipping, making the first week in July the probable drop time. We will keep you all updated.

Western states tour at the end of the week and it sounds like we'll be on TV next Wednesday in Casper, Wyoming. Yeah, that box with diodes that makes pictures move. More details to come but be prepared to tune your rabbit ear antennae to Casper at 7am Mountain Time to see our charming & grizzly visages.

Signed, sealed, delivered. Spent the weekend cuttin' the next album. Steve Hamilton is the man. Just don't let him eat granola bars in the morning. On the gas, we got 10 new tracks in the mix. We have some more work to do, but they'll be hitting stores in less than a few moons.

Closer and closer...very soon there will be a big update with a lot of photos taken by fans at shows. We're still working on the new material, and it's starting to make appearances at the shows. Thanks to Hot Body and the librarians for the last couple of weeks.

Thanksgiving weekend was awesome! We were in the Plymouth Parade, and got to throw tootsie rolls at little kids while we played Christmas Songs, and we won the best float prize! Then we ate a lot of food at Nubby and Sue's house, which was awesome. A hearty thanks goes out to them and to John Ricke for giving us cozy beds and enough Jack's Pizzas to feed an army of Clovis Menn. Thanks everyone!

The Packers are obviously inspired by Clovis Mann. Planning on getting in the studio in January; a new album is in the works for all you Clovis Fanns out there.

Didn't win the MAMAs, but we're the first band to be nominated for 2 categories like that: Best Blues Band, Best Rock Band.

Going in the studio today to record "Lovely Rita" by the Beatles all for the radio promotion being held by Triple M. Dial in to 105.5 and you'll hear this cover this summer, especially the first weekend in June.

Huge show this weekend on campus. 4/20 Friday at the Union with us and King Cruiser (www.myspace.com/kingcruiser). We'll be getting together to recreate the Allman Brother's "At Fillmore East" concert.

On another note, we're featured in the Post this weekend in the article "Your New Favorite Band." The article was at the top of Madison.com a couple weeks back. Thanks to the MoreCowbell.net for the great press.

Lastly, please please please vote for us at www.themamas.org for best blues band and best rock band. We want to take one of those home. It'll cost you $5 if you aren't registered with the mamas, but it's going to a good cause: putting instruments in the hands of little kids.

Thanks for all the support.

We've been honored by being included on the Great Northern Blues Society's latest blues compilation album featuring the best blues bands in the state of Wisconsin. The GNBS is the biggest blues society in Wisconsin, and it's great to be on a disc with the likes of Dave Steffen, Howard Guitar Luedtke, Otis & the Alligators, and other amazing Wisconsin blues bands. These are the best of the best, and we're honored to be included in that group. For more information about the society, visit their web-site: http://www.gnbs.org/.

We are currently nominated for being the best blues band in Madison and the best rock band in Madison by the Madison Area Music Awards (MAMAs). Check out their web-site www.mamas.org. Being nominated is awesome and hopefully we can take one of those MAMA awards home.

Our show at the Prima Publik House on March 9th was the best night the bar ever had, according to the owner.

That tour out west is just around the corner, with stops in Wyoming, and possibly Colorado and Idaho.

"Gravedigger" was rated the #2 Blues/Rock song worldwide on Broadjam during January and February. Their top 10 lists can be found at www.Broadjam.com. It must be because we've been dedicating it to the late Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow lately.

Solid album review in the latest Rick's Cafe: "The heaviness of the lyrics results in a strong statement, with war, death, wrongdoing and hardship being central themes. But underneath these themes flows a current of hope and the strength to perserver, a sentiment that often bears repeating."

--Rick Tvedt, Rick's Cafe, Dec. 2006
